Hot Pink Heroes

The Arkansas Affiliate announces a new program called Hot Pink Heroes, which recognizes the top 25 fundraisers for their outstanding efforts.  Be a part of the special recognition and events.  Become a Hot Pink Hero.  
 

Save a Life...

The cost of a mammogram is $150.  If every race participant collected $150,  we could pay for 45,000 mammograms!

Everyone can take an active role in the fight against breast cancer. Survivors, family members, friends, co-workers and even children can help raise funds by participating in the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Arkansas Affiliate's Because I Care™ fundraising program. Individuals and teams can collect tax-deductible donations and compete for prizes and awards for their charitable efforts.

Because I Care™ fundraising groups are organized into the following categories:

• Corporate/Hospital
• Small Business/Financial/Investment
• Public Relations/Media
• Non-profit/Church/Government Agency
• Schools/Community/Social Group

There are two ways to participate: ONLINE pledges with your own personal webpage on the Race website (Personalize My Page) and OFFLINE by using the paper copy of the Donation Form and mailing it to the Komen Arkansas office with donations.

Individuals and groups with the highest fundraising totals in each category will receive special awards. Check out the column on the right to see the wonderful prizes and trophies up for grabs! The top three fundraising teams in each category will also be recognized on the Komen Arkansas website. Of course, we greatly appreciate everyone who participates in the Because I Care™ program. One day, a cure will be found. And we thank you in advance for helping make that happen.
